I have been recruited to help my dear grandmother find a VW to lease, since her old hyundai has finally given up the ghost. I'll keep you all updated as I try to put her into the most Jalop car a 67 year old could drive. Brown Jetta TDI wagon? I think so

I'd go 4 door Golf before Jetta SportWagen to be honest. I don't suppose your grandmother would like climbing in the back to get things that moved towards the front.
Or if they ended in that small space that neither convenient from either the rear doors or the hatch to grab.

Update, she went with a passat on lease that we talked them down for 450 a month to 299 a month, plus 2500 down.
